Project Server and WSS without AD

We are setting up a WSS, SPS, and Project Server install with no AD. All my
experience is with AD and i was wondering if it was even going to be
possible.

Can anyone tell me what trouble i am in for with no AD? Is there anything i
need to take into consideration in this situation?
