Project Server Apparently Not Recognizing Windows Acct Data

I have a user who is having problems logging on to PWA and cannot access a
custom list I created.

We're using windows authentication and I've double-checked that this user is
correctly set up with his windows account as a user in PWA. I also added him
to this custom list using the "

When he goes to our server, PWA does not recognize him initially. He has to
click on "Log on using your Microsoft Windows user account." It then brings
him to his PWA home page and displays his correct information.

He can access the project workspace where the custom list is, but cannot get
into the list. He gets the logon screen where it asks for a username and
password.

I've never experienced this before and have found nothing that refers to
anything similar. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Michelle, that sounds more like an infrastrcture problem. The first thing
that I would do is let the user log on to another PC and see if the problem
presists. If not than you know it is PC dependend.

It is also surprising that he needs to loggon again. did you ensure that PWA
is a trusted side?

Does the user want to access and see the custom fields in MS Project Pro or
PWA?
Thanks

Thanks Marc!

PWA was not a trusted site and we made it one, but that didn't solve the
problem. He still needs to hit the "Log on using your Microsoft Windows user
account" button, and that lets him in.

He's going to log on to another PC to see if the problem is on his machine.

I think we're OK for now since he only needs to see the Issues List, Risk
List and another custom list in the project workspace.

I appreicate the info!

btw - making PWA a trusted site did resolve the problem of list access. He
can access all lists now!
