Project Server Authentication

Hello,
We are trying to integrate Project server with our existing portal.
The users of the portal will also be the users of project server and a
link in our portal should take them to project server webaccess home
page(not login page).

Now we are confused about which authentication mode is better. most of
the people uses Windows Authentication, because they also integrate
Share point. But we are not going to integrate share pont in this.
Can any of u guys tell me which mode is better? can we go for project
server authentication with any future problems, which is soulding more
logical for oir purpose. We can not anticipate any future problems
with project server authentication.

Please guide me in this regard.

The single issue I can think of would be around having
all the accounts create in multiple locations...using the
Windows route, although trouble some to setup initially
would require less leg work in the long run...but I don't
know enough around the security to answer 100%
