project server cannot connect to the specified sharepoint administration site

In the Manage Windows Sharepoint Services page via the Project Web Access
Admin page, when I select Save changes, It tells me that "project server
cannot connect to the specified sharepoint administration site". I've
verified the urls by pasting them into another browser window and the pages
display just fine. Any suggestions?

Did you run the COM+ and proxycfg utilities?
