Project Server Database Unavailable

Rodrigo Salas

While trying to connect to a project, using MS Project
Professional 2002, I get an error that reads

Project Server Database Unavaliable:
You cant access the database 'cause:
- Problem with global template
- No sufficient permissions
- Network problems
- Server does not have the enterprise features enabled.

Any clues on what to do?

Thanks

Hi Rodrigo

Project Professional 2002. What you have to do now is to go to Microsoft
Project web access in the admin menu select manage user and groups, there
select your user acout and set the permitions in order to alow yuorself to
view and manage enterprise data.

I hope this helps

I think problem is that you haven't create global template
yet. Create blank project template in Project Professional
and from Tools/Enterprise Options/Restore Enterprise
Global get global template to ProjectServer.

Rodrigo:

Is this happening to all users on all machines or just one. Was it once
working and now it's not? Is this a fresh install? Give us something to go
on.
