I receive a project server error message that I simply can
not find a fix. Hopefully some one can shed some light on
the problem (this may be in conjunction with the posting I
made yesterday subject Error code 9102).
Environment
MSP 2003 Pro
Windows Server 2003
SQL Server 2000 SP3a
Error message
"Project Server error
The server returned an error while processing your
request. The error could be caused by one of the following:
The URL specified is not valid or is not a project server
Internet Explorer is set to work offline
The server could not process your request
An internal server error occurred."
Step leading up to the error message
1) Logon to MSP 2003 Pro using an SQL Server account
2) Open a published mpp
3) Modify the plan and then try publishing the assignments
I can logon to SQLServer through MSP. I can logon to PWA
with my SQL Server account. I checked the URL in the mpp.
All seems to check out.
When I close MSP I get the error message: error code
9102 "An exception occurred in the Project Server.
Project Server encountered a problem with this error code:
9102. Please contact your server administrator."
It would be great if someone could help.
