Project Server Event Handler not getting de Registered

I am trying to remove (deregister) a project server event handler attached on
publishing event. I tried many times using the delete Event Handler facility
in PWA but of no use.
I restarted the Project Queue and Eventing service as well but no success.
Can someone help me out?
