Project Server Host Header and DNS Entry

Kallu

Hi All,

I have installed project server 2007 at port 80.

The default location is http://servername/pwa/default.aspx. A DNS entry was
created and mapped to the server as "ProjectServer", IIS website has host
headers of projectserver.domain.com and projectserver.

But it seems i have type of full url http://projectserver/pwa/default.aspx
to access the page. It seems as the project server web access is created as
subsite

Is there any way to create/configure the website or hostheader to just enter
"projectserver" and redirect it to http://projectserver/pwa/default.aspx or
create the projectserver site at root?

Hi There Kallu,

I have seen this done, by using an ASP redirect page (or something to that
effect) - might be worth investigating with someone who has more web dev
experience...
