Project Server Licensing

Can someone clarify for me what the license components are
for the Enterprise Project Management Solution.

I see

1) MS Project Server
2) MS Project Pro
3) MS Office Project Web Access - I can't find any
reference to this anywhere but on the eval kit. Is this a
seperately licensed product or a server component?
4) SQL Server
5) Sharepoint Services (Optional)

Is Server 2003 required to support Project 2003? (Again I
am seeing inconsistent advice on this).

Steve:

You've almost got it:

Number 3 is sold as "Client Access Licenses" (CAL) - there's no software for
this, simply an honor-system licensing policy.

Windows SharePoint Services is bundled with Project Server so you do not
need to purchase it separately. The SharePoint option that would be an
additional cost to you is SharePoint Portal Server should you like to
incorporate that into your environment as well.

Windows Server 2003 is required to support the version of SharePoint that
Project Server 2003 uses. So, technically, you do not have to deploy Project
Server itself on Windows Server 2003, but you must deploy the SharePoint
technology for it on Windows Server 2003. In other words, in order to fully
deploy the 2003 EPM platform, there's got to be at least one server running
Windows Server 2003.
