Currently all e-mail notifications come from
pssrvact@<host>.com. Consequently, receiver does not know
who sent the notification and therefore cannot reply back
via e-mail.

Questions:
1. Can the notification include the originators address?.
For example a status report request from a manager.

2. How can the server name e-mail address be changed
from 'pssrvact' to 'projectserver' to make mail such as
reminders from it more descriptive.

Matt:

You can set the from address in PWA by navigating to Admin > Customize
Microsoft Project Web Access > Notifications and reminders.

The system doesn't support dynamically replacing the from address with the
address of the manager. The reminders, in particular, are a compilation of
all qualifying task events across all projects that the resource is assigned
to. Therefore, these can span multiple managers.

If you want to extend the routine with additional functionality, that option
is always open to you.
