Project Server/Outlook task importing

My company is struggling with our Project Server/Outlook integration.
Everything works fine, but we need to figure out how to have the
'import new assignments' to use the tasks list instead of the calendar.
Currently we are dragging the calendar items manually into tasks, but
we would like to automate this.

This will provide our people in the field an easier and more efficient
way to update their tasks on the road. We have found the calendar
function to be too obtuse for PDA users.
