Project Server queue stuck

[Project Getting Queued problem]

My Project server queue was stuck from 15/6/2009 until now.
no progress its status still Getting queue dan percentage is 0%.

what is going on and how to resolve this problem.
I had try to restart queue services, event and timer services, but nothing
happen.
I had try cancel the queue but nothing happen it stil in queue list.

please help.

I am facing the same issue. Due to that, neither of my project is being
published or even save. How to resolve this???

Have you tried restarting the queue. Also, is this just for one project or
all items. If it's one project then I expect that there is some corruption.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your quick reply. I have figured out the issue. It was due to the
hardware. I was testing the Project Sever 2007 for my organization. I have
used Virtual Server to deploy the PS2k7. That coz all the issue, as soon as
I deploy that on my Core2Duo server with 3 GB of RAM, it started working
fine.

It got suck again. And this time its not hardware issue. We have implemented
the Project server on new dedicated server for it only. It has been
implemented on small server farm environment, where database server is
different then the webserver. Please help me. This is affecting project
tracking performance of the organization.

Causes happen to be different from one site to another.You need specific
assistance, that go and read the SharePoint ULS nad look at the queue
corellations. Usualy it takes 3 or 4 hours. You notice the error and then
find a clue. Most of the case it is due to client cache and user having bad
habits in the way to close Project Pro, esp with slow server (virtual
machines which are often slower in I/O and disk speed).
Once you solve the queue cause, you show apply SP2 + last Cumulative update,
which should improve the situation (exept from som non english version for
the moment)
