When I try to connect project server, it will directly goto home page and
not allows to goto tasks page. The Home page will show “No tasks assigned to
youâ€.

Even sometimes it shows “Access Deniedâ€.

Mukul:

You need to do a better job posting if you want answers. You need to tell us
which version you're using, the exact symptoms and do not paraphrase
messages that you see on the screen. For instance, there is no place on the
home page that it ever says "“No tasks assigned to you.†You might see that
"no new tasks" are assigned to you, but never the message that you posted..

Hi Gary,

Thanks for quick response, but I extermely sorry for there i mention I am
facing this type problem basically i am not facing this problem, I am Project
Server Administrator, One of the Project Server User, he has Team Member,
facing this accessing issue and he sends me request to solve this issue.

As you have mention in your mail this is some permission issue with MDAC.dll
but apart from this user another rest of Project Server Users are easily able
to access own account, if there is something missing with IIS then it should
be applicable for all Project Server Users as i am thinking this.
Please help me this is right idea or wrong.

Thanks,
Mukul

Mukul:

You then need to determine if this is user-specific or machine-specific. Can
the user logon using another machine? If so, then the MDAC version on their
machine may be the problem. Otherwise, I'd look at browser add-ins as a
possible cause. Google toolbar, popup blockers, etc. Remove any of these
from the user's machine.
