Project Server User versus Enterprise Resource

Do I have to add someone as an enterpise resource to project pro if I only
want them to have access to Project Server? For instance senior mgmt wants
to be able to access project workspaces, so i've been setting them up as
users and making sure they have reader access and no problems reproted to
date (been doing this for 6 months). However I've been told recently that
the user must also be setup as a resource is this true and what's the impact
if they are not setup as a resource?

Thanks

Hi Jan,

you dont need to create a user as an enterprise resource.
It will be enough to create the user wihitn Project Web Access as a user,
this will allow the user to see projects, but he/she will not be used as a
resource.

The way you handle the users for workspace is just fine.

I hope this helps
