Project Server using windows Authentication

want to use my project server user accounts to setup using windows
Authentication . For this purpose i use the iis setting no the user anonymous
user setting and using integrated windows setting. this works fine for the
web users to login to the project server using there domain\user accounts.
But the problem is this when i do this i could not connect to the project
server using the Microsoft Project Professional 2003. when i try to connect
it gives me the following error message : Access denied

You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied because your Web browser is sending a
WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web server is not configured to accept

HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server configuration.
Internet Information Services (IIS).

It works fine if I enable the anonymous user account. But I want to user
from my domain to user the domain authentication.

Did you find a solution? I get to the same problem. IT seems very strange
because:

1) my web-access works fine. it takes my windows user accouint and get in
web-access automatically.

2) I use another pc where microsoft project 2003 is install also. I create
an account to my project server: http://projectsrv/projectserver and that<s
work also. Get inside using my windows user account because I dont need to
fill any login and password.

The problem is when I use my PC to get connected to the microsoft server
2003. I get the error: 401.2 Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server
configuration. Internet Information Services (IIS)

Please help.
I think I will re-install my project 2003. I really dont know what the
problems!

It sounds like either the ACL permissions and/or the Authentication
Methods for the web site were modified.

The default settings for Authentication Methods should only be set to
Integrated Windows Authentication. All other settings should be cleared.
