Project Server was unable to process the request.

I am using Project Web Access (Server) 2003 with MS Project Professional 2003 and on occasion while saving the project(s) am having an error message popup saying "Project Server was u nable to process the request. The project was not checked out to you. Save your project as a file to your computer, or contact your server administrator.". The problem is that I am the only person accessing the project at this time and the error appears not to affect anything

A little more background. I have established a master project with eight sub-projects. The error randomly occurs while saving the sub-projects, not always on the same project. I have also had the error occur when I have opened only one of the sub-projects

Anyone have any idea why this message keeps poping up?
