Project Server2003, can not add/upload file and document into Project server via web access

I can not add/upload file and document into Project server via web access,
it said that View and Upload Documents: The documents, risks and issues
features in Project Web Access use Windows SharePoint Services.
A Windows SharePoint Services site needs to be created for your project
before you can share project documents or track project risks and issues.
Site creation takes a few minutes, so if the project was just published,
wait a few minutes and then visit the page again. Otherwise, contact your
server administrator.

I tried to create a project, but it always said like above.

Could you tell me what the problem it is?

Is it just for single project or multiple projects? Check the sharepoint
connection.

I just set up a single Project Sever with Sharepoint Service, the sharepoint
potal server and DB (SQL) Server is located on other Server.

All the funcations on Project Server look like working very well expect
uploading the documents to public document area. There is no error notes or
messages in event log (inculding project server and sharepoint service).

Also, sharepoint server funcations and SQL Server funcations are running
without any error information.

Could you give me the detail guideline that how to check the sharepoint
connection?

1) Login to PWA as Administrator
2) Click on Admin (*Tab)
3) Manage Windows Sharepoint Services
4) Check the URL for SharePoint Central Administration URL
and Create a site under this SharePoint URL
5) Click on Save Changes (This will reset the connection of sharepoint)

Hi Gaurav:

Thanks a lot for your support. Now I tried it. There is a warning message
like below:

"VBScript Microsoft office project web access 2003: You cannot create the
root web "MS_PWA11_60B9EC84366F4A2BB6879EA9B9129DE6" unless an explicit
inclusion or a proper wildcard inclusion is defined"

It looks like some folders or services have incorrect permission? or other
problems?

Try this
1) Open Sharepoint Central Administration
2) Extend or Uprgare Virtual Server
3) Click on Complete List
4) Click on Extended Sharepoint Site
5) Click on Define Managed Paths
6) On Add New Path
7) on Path ProjectServer
8) type Select Excluded path

Let me know if this solves the problem you are having

Thanks a lot for your support.

Re-run the tool called Windows Sharepoint Service Configuration Wizard, it
re-built the connection between Project Server and Sharepoint sevice.
