We are trying to set up a resource pool for allocating resources accross
multiple projects. It is important to us to show annual leave (= resource
related nonworking time) in the Resource Usage view. This is currently not
possible.

Hi Douglas,

I don't know what you have tried but here are two ideas that *may* help:

You can alter the background of a Resource Usage view to show the calendar
(non-working time) for any single resource. This is most useful when you
are trying to track down why a specific resource shows no work for a period
of time. Choose Format>Timescale , Non-working Time tab and select the
resource's name from the calendar drop down. Sadly it applies to the entire
view.

You could also add Remaining Availability to the timescale. When resources
have annual leave, their remaining availability is blank.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie,

Doesn't really help because that will only show the non-working time of one
resource at a time. We want to see non-working time for all resource at the
same time.

Hi,

The only real way is to use a macro (VBA procedure).
A version of it (somewhat complicated I admit) is on my website (Article in
English)
