Project shown as checked out on Project Professiona, but not in P.

Due to a spooling problem, an enterprise project is shown as check out in
Professional. Normally all one would have to do is go into Project Web Access
and check it back in. However, the project is not shown as check out in PWA,
therefore it cannot be checked back in. Now this project is sitting in limbo.

Assuming you have rolled back the Spooler error, refer to the following link
and use the steps to check in the project directly in the SQL Server
database:
