Here's the case:
- created a project site template
- on the site template, created custom views for Risks and Issues lists. Two
views created: one customized with our fields, second customized with our
fields and added paging to it. This second view is supposed to to go on the
main site page, and I need to page the items, 10 at a time, so I don't end up
with a long page.
- applied the template
- created new site with this template.
Issue: All customization is ok, except the view on the main page defaults to
the All Items view. Now, this is not even the default view, as first custom
view (non-paging view) is set a default. When entering the list, the
non-paging view is shown, as expected, as that is the default view. It seems
that only on the main page, the list does not remember the view I have set to
show.
Any clues? Is this a SharePoint issue, or is Project Server overriding this
somewhere? This looks like a possible bug in one of the two products.
