Project Status Added

(MSPS '07) I have added the column "Project Satus" in a view within PWA.
The view is returning a "blank" for all projects. How can I trouble shoot
this situation?

Before you waste too much time on this issue, open any project in Project
Professional 2007, press the F9 function key to recalculate the project, and
then save the project and click File - Publish. Does the Project Status
information show up for that newly-published project in the Project Center?
Let us know.

Hi Dale -

Thanks.... this is for a new client of mine. Just found out that as part
of a problem solving effort, they removed the field and then re-added it back
to Global. each project just needs to be re-published to get the indicators
back. Wish there was a way to "mass publish" a project as every project is
affected....

By the way, did Gary share with you my email about the "Merchant" field on
the receipt that was handed out at the MSP Conference?

Jonathan Sofer

You can fairly easily create a quick macro that will take your list of
projects from an excel file, open them up, recalc, and re-publish the plan.

I have seen this in action and it works well. And it only took about 40
minutes to re-publish 400 projects.

Try posting to the developer group and see if you can get the macro from
someone.
