Project stuck as "published????"

Thanks in advance for helping. We have a project that is
stuck as being published, but it is not. When I try
to "Check in Enterprise Projects" via the server web
interface, it doesn't show up as being checked out.
Microsoft KB doesn't have anything on the subject.
Anyone else come across this? Until it is fixed, nobody
can access the project.
