Project Summary Task

T

Troy

I unknowingly opened a project in read only mode. I proceeded to make a
large number of changes to the project , only to find that I could not save
it. Being resourceful and not wanting to lose my changes I simply save the
project with a different name.
Now my project has a Task 0 in it, and a large percentage of the other tasks
in the project have shifted in order and the groupings are messed up.
I have unchecked Tools - Options - View - Project summary task, but it has
no effect.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Here is a copy of my post from yesterday on the same topic... I hope this can
help you. It is a known bug.

Sorry, I don't know if I can be of any more help because I have never had the
problem.
Here is the link to the Microsoft Bug report on their feedback site:

From there, people have posted 5 work arounds --- you can select "View" to
see them.

Hope that will help
