This might actually be construed as feedback but I aslo want to make sure I
am clear of everything:
1. Project Tasks only show on the Project task list, regardless of who they
are assigned too, unless Flagged with a reminder and then they show up on all
users To Do List.
2. They will also show up in the history of the Primary Link to contact.
This doens't seem correct to me other than Project tasks are not apart of
the Outlook task object.
This causes the problem of creating two tasks lists for users to work and
raises the possiblity of duplication of individual tasks.
Example:
I have a project that I want several users to have assigned tasks during the
process . This project is confidential to other users in the office so If i
set a flag to to flupp on one of the project tasks all users will see the
task in their to do list and the security is compromised.
After the project closes i want to set tasks to flupp 3 and 5 years out, If
I set a reminder all users will have the to do on their list for 3-5 years.
If i don't I have to remember to check the project task list in 3 years time.
What I am getting at is the need for project tasks, and their corresponding
flags, to only show on the task lists of the users they are assigned too.
The obviuos work around of assigning tasks for the user task list instead of
the project is fine for now, but is negates to beauty of having all project
related activity in the project itself.
