Project Template in Project Server

I use the same project plan over and over. The only thing that changes is
the client I am working with. I want to create a template that I can input a
few variables based on the client and it will reallocate all the dates and
possibly durations on tasks that are different for each client. Is this
possible? I know the Global Template cannot be used for this. Can I create
my own "Pseudo-Global Template" from which all my future projects will be
based?

Thanks

Why can't you use an enterprise project template?

Create a stripped down version of your standard project plan and then save it
as a templete rather than a project.

The next time you want to create a new project, pull down the Files menu and
select New. Then on the left side of your screen select the "On my computer"
option and then the template you saved on the Enterprise templates tab.

Yes. In fact, what you propose would be the best method for creating a new
project for each client. Open a copy of the project in question, clean it
up to make it suitable for template use, then click File - Save As and
select the Template option for the file type. To create a new project based
on this template, click File - New, select the On My Computer option in the
sidepane, select your template and click OK. Hope this helps.

I have a related question for below message. Once you save a new custom
template on your computer, how can I get rid of it? I have several template
that are saved "on your computer" that I would like to delete.
