Project tracking in BCM?

Can I use BCM to track dozens of different projects, each with multiple
steps? ACT sorta does with opportunities, but the opportunities funtion in
BCM seems very limited.

Yes, setup a Business Project and create Project Tasks within each one for
your multiple steps. If you want to automate the creation of all the steps,

I want to automate a common list of tasks that i use on every project.

We probably need to rename the pinpoint Marketing tool to pinpoint
ActionPlans tool, or pinpoint SwissArmyKnife tool, or something more
generic. Yes, we added what you had asked for in the pinpoint Marketing
tool. You can setup a Plan for a Business Project and we'll take as many
steps as you enter and create them as Project Tasks, linked to that Project.
