Project Versions

Does a project version (other than .Published) impact Resource Availability?

In otherwords, do only the .Published projects impact a resources
availability?

OR if i put in a .Published and a .Snapshot into project server, will the
availability be lessen/reduced by BOTH the .Published file and the .Snapshot
file?

I haven't been able to find this in the Project Server Guides (admin,
Configuration, etc) so if this is documented somewhere, please let me know
as well.

thx.

Troy,

Only the published version actually impacts on the availability of Resources
in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Versions allow you to run "what if?"
scenarios or to retain a snapshot of a project plan at a specific point in
time. You can use Versions in "Portfolio Modelling" - there are different
views as to the value of this feature.
