Project web access error

Hi, one of our PWA users (PM level) is recieving the following error message
when trying to
update tasks.
"You need Microsoft Project Professional 2002 or Microsoft Office Project
Professional 2003 in order to perform this action.

If you are using either of these versions, verify that the correct account
for this project server has been setup and selected by pointing to Enterprise
Options (Tools menu) and then clicking Microsoft Office Project Server
Accounts. If you are unable to start Project with the correct account,
contact your server administrator to make sure that the enterprise features
have been enabled on the Project Server"

I have checked all the suggestions in the message but still have the same
problem. The only way I could overcome it was by launching (and leaving open)
Project Professional 2003..

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

When updating tasks, Project 2003 does launch by itself to update and
save the project. Maybe when it launches by itself, it is trying to
connect to my computer (could be set as default) and not to the server
account.

The Project Professional client must have the user account details loaded

Also, the account details must be the same as those used to connect through
the Project Web Access Client - preferably Windows Authentication

I assume you are not using Citrix or terminal services ... which would cause
issues of their own

If this is not the issue - let me know and add any more details that you can

Hi

Firstly thanks for the responses,

The user is using Project Professional 2003 from his pc to connect to
Project Server 2003. His Account details in PWA are the same as they are in
the Enterprise options Account and he uses Windows Authentication (as does
everyone in the org). He is not using CITRIX or terminal services. His
Project Professional 2003 installation is setup to manually select the
connection when he launches it.

Thanks,

E.
