Project Web Access Users

When I view my list of users from the admin screen, then go to the Resources
page, not all the users show up in the Resource view. I also don't see all
the users when using Project 2003 Professional and creating a new project and
using the "Build Team from Enterprise" feature not all my users appear. What
gives.

Thanks. Corey

Do some of your Project Server users have user accounts in PWA, but are not
included in the Enterprise Resource Pool? This would include people like
executives who will not perform project work and should not be included in
the Enterprise Resource Pool?

Hi Dale
All my users are PWA accounts. I'm a little unclear on how to add users to
the Enterprise Resource Pool. Do I need to add them some where else? or
change any settings?

To open the Enterprise Resource Pool, do the following:

1. Launch Microsoft Project Professional and log into Project Server with
administrator permissions
2. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Resource Pool
3. Click the Open/Add button
4. Add your resources
5. Double-click each resource name and add the Windows account for the user
6. Save and close the Enterprise Resource Pool

If you had added all of your users in the Enterprise Resource Pool
originally, Project Server would have automatically created user accounts
for each resource in PWA. When you add users to the pool, make sure you
spell the names exactly the same as the user accounts in PWA, and you must
make sure you specify the Windows account for each resource as well. Hope
this helps.
