Project Web Access

Hi,

We are using project server 2003, the problem is all project manager can
able to view the task planned by other project manager. so this create a
problem when a project manager open his project web access home page and
there is a list or timesheet waiting for approval for all resources including
the resources which are handled by him. Is there any option that the project
manager can only view and approve the task planned for his project/resource.

Please help me on this.

Ramesh,

Project Server 2003 is capable of handling the scenario you described. Make
sure that the project manager is also the assignment owner for all
tasks/assignment within his projects. Have the PM open his project plan and
go to - Collaborate - Publish - Republish all assignments. Make sure that
box 'Become manager for these assignments' is checked.

After you have performed these steps for all PM and all projects your
problem should be solved. For future projects make sure you do that in the
process of creating a new project.
