Project workspace custom list templates based on deliverables or r

Hi

I am attempting to create customised list templates for project workspaces
on Project Server 2007 WSS sites. The problem occurs when I try to create a
list template based on the Project Server default templates for deliverables
of risks but not issues. When I save the list as a template it appears in
the list template gallery but when I go to create new site content the list
doesn't appear. This is not the case for other list templates based on
custom lists or any other default list types including issues.

Can anyone help me with this problem? I am able to customise the default
project workspace template but I would like to replace the list definition
for deliverables and risks on many existing project workspaces so customising
these lists individually is not really an option.

Regards

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Customized project workspace list definition can be used to create
the new sites. But It is not possible to apply the list definitions on
existing sites. If you want to apply the changes to deliverables/
issues/risks lists on existing sites, you have to do it manually on
each site.

Thanks

Alternatively, edit the site template, but that will only affect new sites.
Any change required to existing sites must be done manually as Chak said.

Rod, Chak

Thanks both for your help. It looks like I'll be spending some time with
SharePoint designer modifying existing lists.
