Project Workspaces location.

Hi,
We are about to build project management soultion (project server 2007
integrated with moss), and the question I have is: what is a best place (best
practices) to publish project workspaces: under /pwa or out of its scope?
This solution will have other sharepoint sites, which ideally should live in
one site collection among with project workspaces. In this case we're
expecting to get easy to manage navigation and structure. What kind of issues
we could get in this case for project workspaces published out of pwa? I
know, that Risks, Issues lists would still provide their functionality and we
would be able to link list items with project tasks, etc. Also, it seems that
some of the web parts, available under pwa site collection would not be
available outside of this site collection (i.e. web parts like Project
Center, Project Details, Data analysis, etc.) Is there a way to get them
available everywhere on the portal (or at least for one site collection) and
be connected to the project server? Are there any other issues? Does anybody
have an experience with such solutions?

Thank you,
Ann

Hi Ann,

I have had experience with the kind of deployment you are talking about.
These deployments really need to be planned in lines with requirements of
the organisation. If the solution has been correctly deployed you should not
face issues in provisioning project workspaces on the farm as it is supported.

It is best to take on the services of a Microsoft recommended partner or
consultant (Sharepoint/Project Server) in your area.
