Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Images look great on the monitor but when projected are very dark as are the color of type and frames. How do I adjust this/fix this?

That's most likely a matter of the device driver & settings for the
projector and/or the video output of the Mac. There isn't much if anything
that can be done from within PPT.

I'd concentrate on the projector first... Make sure you have the most
current & correct driver, follow the projector's directions for setup &
adjustment. If you continue to have a problem the mfr of the projector
should be your first resource for getting their product to work properly.
Changing anything about the Mac's video output should normally be a last
resort.

I have found that the type of projector really makes a difference.

DLP based projectors, for me and my office, have not been good at
color matching.

This is why I have focused on using projectors that use LCD projection
technology.

I was using infocus for a long time, and about 3 years ago I switched
over to Epson 3LCD Technology
and no longer have color issues.
