Does Project allow me to integrate the
cost\budget\scheduling all in one package???? I need to
record cost on a housing development that consist of a
total of 100+ homes, that are divided into 25 quad units,
there are 4 home stles available, each style has
different opions to chioce from so all 100 homes will
have a different cost......can I use Project to schedule
the tasks needed to do the homes and most
importantly...can I maintain and report cost & budget at
the total project level, the "quad" level, and the home
unit level all in one integrated step?????? Thanks for
any help you can give me!!

Well Project is not really designed to track things like which options
something has. While you could likely do some work and make project do
this you might be better served using something like Excel for the
tracking of the costs that are based on options selected, etc. Let
Project track the costs associated with the actual building of the
units.

Brian- Could you please post at the top, it's much
easier to read than having to scroll down to the bottom.

No. Sorry. I find bottom posting to be easier, particularly when
referring to specific parts of a post.

Well we have made it at least 5 years without a Top Post/Bottom Post
debate in a Project group. I guess we were due. :)

Next my wife will ask me to put the toilet paper on with the paper
coming out from the bottom of the roll versus out over the top of the
roll! (for the record I am a "TOP of the Roll" guy for TP but a bottom
poster in newsgroups) LOL
