Prompt for Close

My customers spreadsheet (but not all of my spreadsheets)
will always display a Save Changes dialog box when I
close it--regardless of whether I've made changes or
simply opened the file. How can I make this unchanged
file not display the Save Changes message on closing?

The last several versions of Excel always recalc a workbook, last saved in
an earlier Excel version, when it is opened. This causes the prompt.

The link seems okay for me without the slash, Dave. Doesn't it work for
you? Btw, I was using the locale independent form Rita gave us a while back
which doesn't have that slash.

When I clicked on it in Netscape Messenger, I got redirected to:

(using Netscape Communicator)

But if I copy|paste into MSIE, it worked fine!

(that should be irritating for some of us.)
