Using Outlook 2003 and when trying to open email messages - prompted for the
2000 preium cd which I don't have. Sorry for the lack of info - trying to
help a fellow user.

Are you a moderator or an MVP? Thanks for your valuable insight!

I do honestly appreciate the help the MVP's provide along with other
technical enthusiast. I find it frustrating that many scour the forums not
looking to help others but rather pointing out errors in so called posting
etiquette.

What’s the unwritten rule of multi-posting? After you post a message:

I. You can only re-post on the first Sunday following a holiday.
II. The context of each re-post must contain the same number of characters
and spaces or it’s null.
III. ETC.ETC.

I’m posting through the web interface. Nearly 100 posts have appeared since
then.

But only a few hours have past since your original post. If you want a
direct answer you should call PSS.

The unwritten rule is; if you haven't received an answer if 2-3 days you
could consider reposting. In addition you would want to repost with some
more information to work with. The general reasons for not getting a reply
is not being specific enough or (when you have been very specific) we
currently don't have an answer.

For instance; your post doesn't say anything about if you indeed still need
Office 2000 application while having Outlook 2003 installed. The simple
answer is; uninstall the left over Office 2000 applications.

Thank you for your response. The user had no need for the 2000 program so
that's what action I took; uninstalled it.

Sorry to be so gruff : )
