Prompting for Saving Changes in a Form in Datasheet View

M

Mike

I have a form that opens in datasheet view. A user opens the form by clicking
a button on a switchboard, which runs a macro that opens the form in
datasheet view. I had to create a macro rather than open the form normally
since it would not open in datasheet view.

The problem is that if a user moves columns around then closes the form, no
save prompt comes up. The change is saved automatically on close.

I need to have a prompt come up so that the user can say no and not save the
change.

Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible. When editing information
within a field, it is just like you are changing the data in the table itself.
