Proof languages installed, but do not work for Language selected

I installed the Proof Languages (muisetup.exe) and they apparently were
installed without problems. No error messages.

But when I use MSOffice 2003 Pro and do a spellcheck for German, I first
highlight the text, then select languages under Tools, select German, then
go back to Tools and want to do the Spellcheck.

It shows all kind of languages. oodles of French, but no German. Spanish
yes, English yes, no German and THAT is the language I chose when I
installed Proof Languages.

What gives????
