Proofing tools for Office 2000

I would like to get Czech proofing tools for my Office 2000 but all I can
find is proofing tools for Office 2003. Are these tools backward compatible
and would they work with my older version of the Office?

No, they will not. They interface better, but not completely, with newer
versions of Office.
