I have had to reinstall windows on a new hard disk. Installed Office 2003
also, no prob.
Then I wanted to install a few extra languages from the Proofing Tools CD
I've got for the previous Office version (OfficeXP). These proofing tools
won't install; its setup says OfficeXP should be installed first.
However, I remember after I upgraded to Office2003 from OfficeXP (with these
extra proofing tools already installed before the upgrade) these proofing
tools continued to function perfectly.
Is the conclusion that, to make my existing version of the proofing tools
function, I have to un-install Office 2003 first, then install OfficeXP,
then install the proofing tools, then upgrade to Office2003?
If someone can tell me how to do this in an easier way without me having to
buy a new version...
