I receive this error message (properties for this
information service must be defined prior to use) when I
try to import a *.pst file. All file permission are okay
( full access) any ideas?

You need to setup Personal Folders service. For oulook
2000 you would need to go

tools -> services -> Add

Then Select personal folders from the list.

did you have the pst on a CD? It needs copied to the hard drive and have the
read only flag removed.
