Properties of a Public Folder

P

Paul Foote

Good day.

My default, a public folder that I have set up is show in
my Outlook with the "number of unread messages"
highlighted in blue. However, when I go to the properties
of the folder the option to "Show total number of items"
is greyed out. In fact, both options are greyed out, but
it appears to display the number of unread messages by
default.

Is there a way to change the display so that I see the
total number of messages rather than the number of unread
messages? I have total Administrative access to both the
public folder and to the Exchange Server so changes to
either is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Don't think you can change what shows up next to the PF in your folder list
view, but you should see the total number of items at the bottom of the
window when you select the folder.
