Properties Window Missing

This started happening a couple of weeks ago and is driving me crazy. The
properties window is gone. I click on the icon and the Title bar grays out
like another window should have opened, but the properties window is no where
to be found. It is happening in every database I use, whether they are brand
new or 5 years old, so it must be a setting or checkbox somewhere but I can't
track it down. I am using Access 2003. If anyone has any suggestions I'd
really appreciate hearing them.

It's possible that the properties window went off screen where you can't see
it. I just looked and Access doesn't show a scroll bar when that happens. I
thought that going to Window, Cascade or Tile would work, but it doesn't seem
too.

I suggest opening up a property box. Then minimize all windows until you see
the desktop. Right click on it and bring up Properties then go to the Setting
tab. Set the screen resolution to the More side so the numbers get larger.
Apply the change and Maximize the Access window. Hopefully you can see the
Properties box now and move it more towards the upper left of the Access
window.

It might be possible to use the keyboard rather than the mouse: if you
setfocus to a visible window and keep pressing Tab, does the desired window
eventually appear?

It happened when i upgraded to a dual monitor set up. I couldn't see it
anywhere, so I changed the properties to allow me to use both monitors for a
single window and there it was. I just dragged it back to where I could see
it so I'm back up and running. Thanks for your help.

It did go off screen, and it happened after upgrading to a dual monitor set
up. As soon as I allowed the window to span both monitors, the properties
box was clearly visible. I dragged it back into view so it is all set.
