Proplus.msi was an Office XP Enterprise (volume) license
copy for MS Office XP Professional + FrontPage, rather
than a retail sales copy.
Pro.msi is an Office 2003 Enterprise (volume) license edition CD.
ProRet.msi is an Office 2003 retail/OEM version of Office.
They are the main installation files on the purchased CDs
and are not available from download through Microsoft.
If the CD you have does not match the installed version (check
for Pro*.msi using Start=>Search or the methods in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290134&FR=1 )
then you may need to contact the PC supplier to provide the
matching CD or backup your files, uninstall the copy on
the PC restart the PC and install from the CDs that you do have.
It is also possible that the installation you have has been
damaged. From Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel
choose the Microsoft Office listing and see if you can successfully
complete a repair/reinstall using the CD you have.

the spyware is supposed to tell you if you have any
malicious content that tracks yoour computer activity
(web activity, habits, keystrokes etc.) The FREE download
was cr*p, it scanned my puter then gave me a result
screen; then informed me that if I wanted to actualy fix
anything I would have to PAY!
I uninstalled it immediately!
My issue is not with that software (however misleading it
may be) but, with the issue of proplus.msi & the fact
that all of my MSOFF apps have now gone AWOL.
From my research, I have rather come to the conclusion
that Proplus, proret, pro.msi etc. glitches are a common
frustration amongst web posters
I have researched the newsgroups and have encountered
MANY instances of this problem (installing sp3- then
orig. CD does not work, 11311? errrors, 11345? errors)
all resulting from the same file install error.
I have a valid LEGAL product keycode, but my CD will not
load. What are my best options????
From what I have seen on the boards, this file is not
even on it.
I managed to track down the latest administrative install
file, downloaded it; it then prompted me for an install
location ????????? no help from the MSOXP site.
I have loads of time-critical word and XL items that have
been derailed! I'm desperate.
Is there any way I can obtain/download a fresh install,
and use my VALID product key to activate it????
Please respond soon,
I'm running out of time, and, possibly a job
Thank you >>
