Where is the link for Proposal and Activity under Projects in PWA left
navigational pane?

I don't see it in my view, yet the book, Managing Enterprise Projects says
that the project manager role should see this link. I can't find how to turn
it on or off anywhere.

I also know that I can access either one from the project center page...but
I am looking for the link on the PWA home page. Thanks!

The Proposals and Activities link appears by default in the Project section
of the Quick Launch menu. If you are not seeing it, I would suspect that
your Project Server administrator has hidden it. Could this be the case?
If so, why did he/she hide it? And if so, has he/she disabled any of the
permissions associated with Proposals or Activity plans? Let us know what
you find.

Dale, seems we have been here before. I am the admin. All my security
settings are default...the question is...where would you go about hiding
that? what is it called? what category? what group? yes, that could be the
case (that it is hidden)...no...we have done nothing to disable the
activities and proposals, as I said in my previous post, we have those
features available in the Project Center, under NEW.

Can you help point me in the right direction? thanks!

Log into PWA with administrator permissions. Click the Server Settings link
in the Quick Launch menu and then click the Quick Launch link in the Look
and Feel section of the Server Settings page. Click the Proposals and
Activities item to open it for editing. Make sure the Display in Quick
Launch field is set to Yes. Is it? If not, set it to Yes and then click
the OK button. Then click the Save button. Let us know what you find.
