Hi.
I have a worksheet originally created on a PC in Excel 07.
The sheet is protected but specific cells/ranges are editable (using a password of "").
In Excel 08 I can remove the protection to edit the whole sheet but cannot work out how to reinstate the protection so the specific cells are again editable.
Can you help?
Thanks
Patrick

Range Protection isn't an option in the Mac version of Excel. Sheet
Protection is either On or Off & applies to cells retaining their Locked
property as well as the Scenarios & Objects on the sheet.

If you think this is a desirable feature you might take a moment to use
Excel's Help> Send Feedback mechanism to contact MS.
