"Protect Sheet" option

I have used this feature on some of my Excel files, and
have since forgotten the password I used!
(surprise,surprise) Is there any easy way to regain access
to these files?

In case you didn't notice the other post by JE McGimpsy, look for his
notes at http://www.excelforum.com/t173637-s. His macro works. I have
used it myself succesfully. He also has a page dedicated to the
explanation of why it works, it was interesting...

Just a quick note about the above posting. It works great (or at least
it did for me). I ran it as a test against a password that was eight
characters long and it open up the sheets as explained. His write up on
his web page was interesting for those of us that don't know much about
the password files in excel and how lacking they really are.
