Protected Form Spell Checking & Wavy Lines

No - the red and green wavy lines are only available when the form is
unlocked. In the case of a protected form, the protection is temporarily
lifted in the macro while the spell check is run then reprotected. If your
document requires extensive free editing then you have to consider whether a
protected form is the best way to achieve your aims. A Userform may be more
appropriate a method of gathering and inserting data - For the basics, see
