Protected storage and loss of password

Hi,

I am loosing the password for my internet account outlook
2000, when i do enter it in services and click on apply i
then get a 'enter your protected storage password'. have
followed the instructions on the follwoing kb 2090984 and
this doesnt work.

Any ideas
