How do I protect a video or picture from being downloaded from my web site?

I assume you mean being "copied". If you put a video or picture you want it viewed and to view a video it has to be downloaded. I'm not sure that someone can "capture" the video feed? But, there is not much you can do about a picture. Sorry.

There is NO way ... it's been downloaded into the viewers cache for them to
be able to see it. See many previous posts about this subject!

As stated anything viewed over the net can be copied.
Things that can be done- Stream from a Windows Media Server
or use an asf file as a redirect type element

you can't - every time you view a web page, it is being downloaded to your web
cache.(temp internet files).
